Dreamwork
Your dreams are speaking to you.
Have you ever woken from a dream that stayed with you all day — vivid, meaningful, perhaps unsettling? Dreams are not random noise from a sleeping brain. They are messages from your inner world, offering insight, healing, and guidance when we learn to listen. Yet most of us don't know how to work with our dreams. We may remember fragments, wonder what they mean, and then let them slip away. Or we might be troubled by recurring nightmares that leave us anxious and exhausted. Dreams deserve our attention, and there are gentle, powerful ways to engage with them that honour both their mystery and their practical value in our lives.
My training in embodied experiential dreamwork.
I am currently training with Dr. Leslie Ellis, a world-renowned expert in embodied experiential dreamwork and author of A Clinician's Guide to Dream Therapy. Dr. Ellis has developed a method that combines focusing — a gentle way of listening to the body's wisdom — with Jungian active imagination techniques to help people engage with their dreams in a safe, meaningful way.
This approach is grounded in both contemporary neuroscience and depth psychology. It recognizes that dreams are not puzzles to be decoded, but living experiences to be explored. Through embodied dreamwork, we learn to stay with the felt sense of a dream, to inhabit its images, and to let new understanding emerge organically rather than imposing interpretation from the outside.
Dr. Ellis's work is especially valuable for those who experience nightmares or trauma-related dreams. Her methods have been shown to reduce nightmare frequency and distress, and to help people find resources and healing within their own dream landscape.
Why work with dreams?
Dreams can help you:
Process difficult emotions that may be hard to access in waking life
Gain clarity on decisions, relationships, or life transitions
Connect with your intuition and inner guidance
Heal from trauma by finding resources and resolution within the dream itself
Reduce nightmares and improve sleep quality
Understand yourself more deeply through the rich symbolism of your inner world
Dreams speak the language of image, metaphor, and feeling. When you learn to engage with them in this way, you open a doorway to parts of yourself that are often hidden in daily life. You may discover strengths you didn't know you had, or gain insight into patterns that have been holding you back.
What I Offer
How I work with dreams
I bring my training in embodied experiential dreamwork together with my background as a Registered Occupational Therapist and holistic therapist for highly sensitive people. I understand that each person's inner world is unique, and I create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your dreams at your own pace.
Whether you're curious about a single vivid dream, struggling with recurring nightmares, or simply want to cultivate a richer relationship with your dream life, I can guide you through this process with care and skill. I offer individual dreamwork sessions and am open to exploring group dreamwork experiences as my training progresses.
You don't need to remember your dreams perfectly or be able to interpret them on your own. All you need is a willingness to be curious about your inner life and to trust that your dreams hold wisdom worth tending.
